Social Distancing could be bad for Pest Control in your home

Did you know that COVID and the whole social distancing actually brings with it more potential issues. When COVID-19 hit, besides the fact whether you believe in it or not, the whole social distancing and let's rather stay at home, is actually bad for Pest Control. With Millions and Millions of people spending more time away from others and spending much more time in isolation where more foods, drinks, deserts and many more face stuffings are happening, we are increasing waste in urban areas and we are not increasing the level of rubbish removal, so common waste are significantly increasing. Now Pests are very clever and they are catching on. According to the latest studies, there has been a huge number of rat sightings in kitchens as of late. So yes, they may say that social distancing is lessening our COVID chances, if that is possible, and yes Mr. Online Store is smiling all the way to his online bank, but friendships are not what it used to be, time with loved ones are lost, but the burning question is this, doesn't a increase of Pests in our Homes bring with it more and more deadly Pest Born diseases?

Now, we are not going to debate whether we must have social distancing or not, whether we must imitate the whole cocoon and butterfly effect, or even whether COVID is real, fake or some type of bio-chemical weapon, we need not even discuss the harm or good of vaccines, but if we are going to stay more at home, because this is currently a world wide drive, then please keep these following things in mind. 1. Check all incoming packages that are delivered at home for any Pests that could come along with it and for eggs potentially found inside these packaging's. Packaging must be checked outside first if possible, before entering your home. 2. All this packaging must be discarded of and not stored in garages, bin areas or cupboards. 3. If Garbage removal trucks only comes to your area ones a week, make sure to drive your rubbish away to the local dump once or twice weekly yourself. Yes, I know this is a pain in the old donkey, but it will decrease chances of having Pest Infestations like Rats, Cockroaches and it will decrease fly populations and also assist in not having to deal with a good old maggot in the bins. 4. Wash bins out weekly where possible. 5. Now this is not for Pest Control, but rather health control, don't let boredom drive you to binge eat, make sure that you still get exercise and where possible, have a eating schedule and for goodness sake, pun intended, still limit your inhaling of sweets, biscuits, chocolates and all other forms of unhealthy foods. It doesn't help you are staying safe from COVID, but become a unhealthy, unfit, diabetic, because then you might find it difficult to run away from the Pests when encountered. So let's not spread decease by creating a feast for Pests at our homes daily. Roach Approach S.A
